ALPFA at UIC is excited to invite its members to the ALPFA Central Regional Student Symposium.
Regional Student Symposiums offer ALPFA Student Members the opportunity to network with recruiters and learn about internships and full-time positions. The programming consists of professional development workshops and training. Students can attend the different activities facilitated by professionals from the companies who sponsor the event. Additionally, the Career Fair allows students to network with several companies, have interviews, and have direct conversations with the recruiters of their companies of preference.

2024 ALPFA National Convention
ALPFA at UIC is a Student Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals For America. We aim to raise money to send the University of Illinois Chicago students to the 52nd annual ALPFA National Convention happening in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The ALPFA National Convention brings together over 5,000+ professionals, 4,000+ students, and 100+ corporations nationwide to become motivated, inspired, and better business leaders. Members can receive internships, full-time offers, scholarships, networking experience, and professional development opportunities with some of the top employers in the country. The ALPFA national convention presents an array of limitless possibilities. This convention attracts numerous corporations, providing ALPFA members with a significant platform to engage with these companies and fostering prospects for internships, fellowships, and full-time career opportunities. At the recent convention in Texas, a total of 106 companies participated in the 2-day career fair.
Monetary donations will allow us to support 26 of our organization members attending the convention happening August 4th-8th. These financial donations will help cover the costs of the convention, which include hotel room and flight/transportation expenses. We could not do this without the support of our UIC community, ALPFA alumni, friends, and family!
